Turn signal stalk help

I have looked through the normal references, but I'm still at a loss.
My left turn signal stopped turning off after the turn a little while back. The right signal still works fine. More recently the entire turn, cruise, wiper stalk came off in my hand.

Everything on the stalk still works fine, but to turn on my blinkers I have to stick my finger into the steering column and manipulate the lever by hand - it is actually pretty hard to move by fingertip.

Anyway, today I took apart what I could to see the issue, and here is what I have.

The best I can describe it is this; the signal stalk attaches to a pivot point in the column that has a vertical pin in it that runs through top and bottom of the pivot point with the signal stalk in between. The bottom of this attach point has snapped off and allowed the pin to come free (I pulled both the broken piece and the pin from the column) which then has allowed the stalk to come free.

What do I need to replace to be able to attach my signal stalk back to the column, and have the signals work as they should (turn off after turning).

Thanks!

Re: Turn signal stalk help

i'm wondering the same, i have a 97 camaro that i can't use the left turn signal because the stalk isn't sitting in there right and when i use the right signal i can only turn it off with the steering wheel.
