v6 car and v8 differances

ive owned quite a few lt1 cars but im thinking about getting a v6 car to strip down to bare essentials and stick a lt1 into it...im assuming the mounting points are all basically the same...
im sure ill ahve to swap fuel lines maybe tanks, radiator...
im wondering more about the BODY part of the electrical...is it as simple as putting in a lt1 and plugging in the pcm/harness and it running?

Do a search, lots of people have done this. But 99% of the time it turns out cheaper to just buy an LT1 car.
