weight reduction and aerodynamics questions

I have a strut tower brace that is basicly there for looks, You guys think it's worth scrapping for front end weight savings?

Also I think the fog lights and under car air to radiator scoop cause air drag. Do you think it would be significant enough to run the fog light holes to cool the radiator?

One more thing, which weighs more, the lt1 or ls1 front brakes?

thanks

lt1 breaks weigh more because the calipers are heavier

Unless you're building an all-out racecar, the weight savings would be minimal at best. And the drag reduction wouldn't be that noticable unless you're going 100mph+, but by that speed, your spoiler is the one that's adding the drag to help keep the rear end down.
