welding exhaust question

I recently installed an SLP Loudmouth system on my 97 Z28. What gauge stainless steel is this system?
Also, I have used a stick welder to weld thick metal in a shop when I was growing up... Can I buy a 70-100amp flux-core welder to weld this type of exhaust system?
What is the best type of system to buy that would work all around.. I want to weld the exhaust on my car, I have a chair that's made out of thin square aluminum tubing that needs to be fixed, I want to be able to weld sheet metal, steel tubing to make shelves, etc.. Can anyone suggest the type of unit I should be looking for.. Can I get one, or do I have to buy 2 different units for the type of work I want to do? Thanks!

http://www.millerwelds.com/products/multiprocess/

That's what I would recommend..

Tig for roll cages and other non heat welding

Mig for exhaust, quick fixes, thin or thick metal

Stick for anything else you want..

Ever since Moster House starting giving away those Esab mig/tig welders I want a multiprocess welder....

Re: welding exhaust question

Can you weld stainless exhaust with a non-gas flux-cored welder? Also, can you weld aluminum with a flux-cored welder?

Re: welding exhaust question

I believe you can weld aluminum and stainless steel with a tig.. Check the product description.. but I am almost postive that these welders do it all..
