Well i stripped a couple of header bolt holes!

Ugh.. sucks

everything was going great till i start putting the bolts in..

Well they are stripped, anyone know the size so I can go get a re-threader?

If they are truly stripped, a thread chaser is not going to fix it. Heli-coil or thread insert will have to be done. Whether there is room to correctly do that with the head on the car is a concern.

Yep. Oh man what a PITA.

With my luck they are definitly stripped. I dont even think i can get an angle drill in there!

Great time to do a head/cam swap though. But it comes in a time of no $$ to spend.

haha yea.....

Major problem was holding the header and threading in the bolts..sucks man..it sucks

im goin to sears right now to buy a thread restorer kit and see how that goes. my luck is i gott pull the heads and all

I could never fit a torque wrench on the header bolts any which way I tried, unless the headers aren't in the way. Try that with SLP shorties, not happening.

A couple swivel head extensions and it was good to go.
