What do I need for air intake? '95 3.4L
Hi there!
Recently I bought Camaro'95 and still ordering spare parts)
Now I decided to fix air intake system.
Can you look at the photos and tell me what exactly do I need?
There is an air filter box, I bought a new filter recently.
I know that something is missing here. I suppose it's aluminum (?) pipe and...? And what?
Can somebody show this to me on pics what EXACTLY do I need to order for complete system?

Here's the parts diagram from Nalley. Should give you all the EXACT info you need:
AIR INTAKE SYSTEM. Fits: Camaro, Firebird | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick

Thank you very much, great link!
But it confused me a little bit more...
afaiu, I need #12, but previous owner told me that "there was aluminum pipe that rotten". That's odd, and I saw that pipes on eBay, but it doesn't fit at all.

There is also the chance that the PO does not know what he thinks he does.

Appears you are posting from Estonia. Did you buy the car there, or did you have it imported?
Apparently you put more trust in the info from someone there, than from two people who have each owned their 4th Gen F-Bodies for 20+ years, and have spent endless hours helping thousands of others with their similar cars. And Nalley basically copies the factory diagrams, but I guess you think they are wrong too. Sort of insulting.
The V6 airbox and part #12 appear to be identical to the V8 parts in the area you are questioning. The is no "aluminum pipe" (and aluminum doesn't "rot") in that location. What the parts from ebay are intended for is replacement cold air intakes, eliminating all the plastic ducting, airbox and part #12. They attach to the rubber bellows, and turn 90-degrees downward, allowing a cone type filter to be located below a baffle in the inner fender, outside the hot engine compartment.

Hi all)
I figured this out, I have everything I need inside air intake system, based on this scheme
But still don't understand what "aluminum pipe" means previous owner.
And btw, does anybody know if fuel gage indicator from front panel repairable? I discovered that it's broken.

I bought car from previous owner here, in Estonia, but this guy doesn't care about a car at all. Camaro stands still for FIVE years, and I'm new here and in car world at all, so I try to figure everything out before I take Camaro to the service. Before that I need to buy as many spare parts as possible, cause in Estonia really hard to get any of it. So I use local stores, ebay, amazon, all of that. There is only one guy in Estonia who own this type of car (95 Camaro), so I really have to figure this out by myself mostly, and thanks to this forum tooo ))

Oh, believe me, this is gauge)) arrow is just out of area about 120 degrees))) Can shoot it today to show)))
Thanks to everybody for helping ^.^
btw, what "check gages" sign really means? Manual said that I need to check gauges :-D Could it be because of broken fuel gauge?

Re: What do I need for air intake? '95 3.4L
Read Shoebox's writeup... yes he does know what he is talking about. An open circuit = infinite resistance. As you can see from Shoebox's link, high resistance = needle moving toward the full position. Infinite resistance might drive it past full.
Could be a faulty gauge, could be a wiring or tank level sensor problem. Rather than just assuming it's a broken gauge, why not do some testing to determine whether it is or is not?
Appears you have an export dash, and you aren't going to find many of those available as replacements.

Hard to tell in the pic, but could the needle be stuck on the plastic on the edge of the gauge face? Of course, you would have to determine how it got in that position in the first place.

Thanks for help, guys)
I need to wait another two weeks for service (waiting for spare parts from US), but still try to figure out as much problems as possible... Today's problem I called "everything's off")) No power at all. Don't know what to think, cause battery is brand new. Think first thing I have to do tomorrow is buy a tester for battery and check if it works... What else could happen?
Car stands at my place and wait for last month (as I said I keep buying spare parts, from US mostly), I bought a battery about month ago, plugged it in two weeks ago (yes, there was a problem to me to find here proper terminals and bolts)), and it was alive even the day before yesterday.
Keep in mind that car has a problems with electric circuit: much stuff like fog lights, mirrors, right rear lights just not working, I discovered it when I plugged in the battery.
