Window regulator

Ok I have a 95 t/top Camaro and when I put the window down the whole thing shifts forward and the front goes down before the back and when I put it up the front don't go all the way up into the rubber guid on the door by the side mirror and there is a gap in the back on bolth windows so I took the door pannel off and dis some looking around and where the pop rivits that hold the regulator inplace is all worn out and the whole regulator shifts up when the window goes down what would be the best way to fix the holes would I just use fiberglass and bondo or could I use some kind of bolts and washer to repair it also when the windows come down they fall in towards the car and are really loose does that mean the regulators are worn out and need to be replaced any ideas

Re: Window regulator

you are talking about rivets in the motor and not the regulator, right? you can just drill those rivets out and replace with bolts/nuts. not sure of the size needed but these come with new window motor.

No I mean the ones that hold the regulator the motor has small rivits that attach it to the regulator and that has big ones that attach it to the door I'll try to take some pics and put them up so everyone will know what Im talking about
