I have an 2001 Formula and it has a bad attitude. I bought it less than a month ago and the guy that I got it from said that it just started this won't start thing but if you wait just a few minutes it fires right up. He thought it had something to do with the security system that the guy before him put on...since then it's done it three other times. The first time it started a couple of hours later, the second almost 24 hours later, and now it's been about 48 hours and it's still not starting! There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. All accessories work, does it when its warm or cold, all fuses have been checked along with the alternator and battery, the security light doesn't blink or stay on, wires jiggled, foil wrapped around the key, starter banged on, what's next??? PLEASE HELP!

 

Check the VATS. Do a search.
