Lightbulb Is it worth it.

I have a 1994 chevy Camaro Z28. It has the T-56 Borg 6 speed trany, and the rag top. My research tells me there were only about 350 made with these specs all in one package. The car runs great minus a few minor problems and outer and inner cosmetics. have only about 2500 in it so far. its still all stock from the factory. was wondering if it is worth in to throw about 3000 more at it it getting all the way restored.
Please any help would be great or any ideas on what i can do would also be great. thanks.

Welcome to the board. I suppose "worth it" depends on perception and goals... Are you thinking long term (multi decade show car investment) or having fun? You may want to search through the forums and see what other people have established as "values"...

Re: Is it worth it.

I want to keep it for the long haul. i do drive the car but not every day. so i guess i want it for show but not car shows. like the look of it or as the kids put it now days i like to flex it every once in a while. and as far as the value when it was not running due to coil pack i was offered 7000 for it as is. i turned them down. when i bought the car it was owned by a very young kid that raced it every where and had no respect for the car at all. i think i have save this beauty. any one know cheapest place to get parts?

As a return on an investment it probably would NOT be worth it, unless you keep it for a very long time. As something you can point to and said I did that, and feel good about saving what will be a classic car then I think is would be worth it. Up to you!!

Quoted for truth. These things aren't worth squat right now, but i'd expect them to increase in value down the road. And as the saying goes in the collector market, when the top goes down, the price goes up. My next f-car will be definitely be a vert. I've been on a kick lately where I want a 25th anniversary TA vert. Maybe in a few years...
