'00 Z28 Suspention
I have a 00 Z28 that I purchased new. The salesman that sold me tha car was a total butt head and didn't mention the 1LE suspention package when I ordered the car. So, for the past 35,000 Miles I've been driving a Z28 that is sloppyer and softer than your grandfathers Buick. Since the warranty is almost up, I'd like to replace the suspention with the 1LE
Does anybody know whats involved?
Are the Springs & Control Arms different?
Or is it just Bigger Brakes and different shocks and sway bars?
Or better yet, maybe there's an aftermarket package thats better??
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.....

The 1LE option was not available for the '00 model year. The pre '00 1LE package included a larger 32 mm front sway bar, higher durometer control arm bushings, and firmer shocks (Koni DA's). The '93 included a 21 mm rear bar.
Rather than duplicate it, you may want to pick and choose (as I did) some 1LE parts, and go for aftermarket lowering springs and shocks. The most popular parts are the sway bars and the LCA and PHR control arms (cheap and easy to install too).

SLP's 70001 kit incudes these parts with some slightly lower springs and firmer Bilstien shocks. Don't confuse it with the 'heavy duty' 70001A kit that uses problematic poly bushings. This kit probably won't lower your car in comparison to your factory springs that have settled with time and use (how did you go for 35K miles on them? I lasted 3 months!)
Try gmpartsdirect.com as well.
Hope this helps
