I've seen adds that claim 1.85:1 ratio jesel shaft mount rocker arms are going to add 30+hp. Would it be better to just change the cam? How much do you expect an install on a cam compared to that of new rocker arms. Ive done all the work on my car myself thus far, but a cam or rockers seems like too big of a pain for me.

Umm, I've heard places quote install for cam, and springs and stuff for around near the $1000 mark....

 

Go with a cam and keep your stock 1.7 ratio. Anything 1.8 and higher is not recommended with aftermarket cam ramp rates.

Besides, I am not sure if 1.85 rockers will even work with your stock springs. It sounds to me like it would be too much lift and break them. You would have about .540" lift with the 1.85s.
