A new airbox, the "free mods," An M6 tranny if you are a skilled driver, A4 for more consecutive times. 3.23 gears if auto, 3.73 if M6, of course the K&N filter, some stickier tires, to put all that new power to the ground, and to top it all off with an exhaust/muffler, you will be running high to mid 12's in no time

Lid, K&N, Loudmouth, all the free mods, drag radials, some good air, and decent altitude. If your in a high alt. area then the formula for 12s will be different.
Doesn't matter whether it's a stick or auto. I ran 12.96 with this combo in my 2000 Formula A4. Added a converter, slicks, and an OR y-pipe and ran the #s in the sig.

Sig ... all bolt-on and that was in a 1400 DA. Before the year is out I expect to hit an 11
One hint though it's takes a lot of passes to tweek and tune the engine and suspension to get the most out of it. And depending upon your driving experience, some seat time for your self so you know what you have.
A guy took new Z and went mod for mod copying my car, before he even took it or himself to the track ... never got it out of the 13s before he put it in the wall as he crossed the traps at 108
