Question 17 x 11 wheels

Yeah own a 98 ls1 I have the slp corvette zr1 wheels right now the 17 x 9.5 but I’ve seen some ls1 with the 17 x 11's on the back they look really nice. I like the wider look on the back. I was just wondering if you had to do major modification to the wheel well to make the tires not rub and stick out???? Let me any body would really appreciate it!!!!

very unlikely youll need any modifications in the wheels well. if you get the correct offset (50mm) youll almost undoubtedly be fine. only thing that might be a slight problem is the bumpstop, but if need be, grind some of it down. no biggie.

I just slapped mine on a couple of weeks ago (see sig for plenty of new pics) and I had to do a little "bodywork" on the lower front portion of the rear wells. I had less than fingertips clearance between the tire and well. I have the correct offset and an adjustable panhard and it was still close. I guess build tolerances will dictate who do and don't have to modify. I hate tire rubbing so I nipped it in the bud, before I had to hear it.

Other than that, they fit great and look AWESOME!
