17x9.5 and 17x11 rims on a 2002 SS

Post 17x9.5 and 17x11 rims on a 2002 SS

i was wondering if anybody had this combination on the newer camaro/firebird. i really want to lower the car 1.5" but i heard if i dont lower it i will be fine puting 17x11" rims on the rears i really want 315's on the back any suggesstions?

I have been opting for that option for the longest time. I want the 315's myself because they are freakin huge. There isn't a problem putting 17x11 in the back even after the drop. Its only the front that they won't fit in. Rubs against the front plactic fender area.

i want 275/40/17 in the front so i dont think i will have that problem of rubbing but i cant find anyone that does 1"-1 1/2" drop they are all 2" i might have to go with PST springs they are built to your car and what you have or want

I thopught there was a company that made a drop of 1.6 inches....the sportlines or something.

i believe that hotckis springs are 1- 1.5 drop check them out at www.summitracing.com

Hotchkis, is one of the smaller drops, i think 1.2. If you want to go further look into eibach sportlines, or the G2's at www.lgmotorsports.com , altough those are road race springs and are very stiff but probably the closest to 2 inches.
