I have a 2001 Z28 and I read another post about someone who has an SS asking about his title that said Camaro Z28. I started thinking that mine doesnt say Z28 on it, so I cheked. My title only says Chevrolet Camaro. It does not add a Z28. Could anyone with a Z let me know what theyre title says.

 

It will vary by state, and by how the dealer typed it. My Trans Am says Firebird, and my old '98 Z28 said "Z28" under Model, but did not say Camaro at all.

 

Definitely depends on who writes it up. My 92 Firebird says Firebird on the title, my 2001 Z28 says Camaro on the title (no Z28).
Even if an SS said Z28 on the title, that's technically correct, because by VIN, an SS is a Z28.
