You must be talking about the 2002 Camaro SS, 35th Anniversary Collector's Edition (CE?? ).

They are red with silver "racing" stripes.

he just means limited edition SS. it's the bright rally red w/ silver stripes that turn into white stripes towards the back.

 

Isn't that what I said?? Also, where the stripes fade at the back, it actually turns into a checkered-flag pattern (looks kinda cool). And, the LE/CE/35th edition/whatever comes with the embroidered "35th Anniversary" headrests (and floormats too, I think?).
