295 & 275 18's

Hello everyone, I searched for this but couldn't find it anywhere in the group. Is anyone running 295/18's on the rear and 275/18's on the front? I have a 2002 Z with the stock chrome 245/16's and want to upsize. My thinking is that 295's are a little wide for the front.
Pros and cons?
Thanks.
Larry

Thumbs up

run the 275's on the front and the 295's on the rear...
Works fine with the correct offset wheels.
Later,

Talking Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone for the prompt and informative responces. I went out yesterday and found a pair of 245/45/ZR17 and a pair of 275/40/ZR18 unfortunitly they were attached to a 2001 corvette with only 6000 miles sooo....you guessed it, I just bought the whole damm car!!! I fiqured it was easier than doing all that work switching wheels, right? I'm sad to say that trading in my "2002 35th Z" was part of the deal. I've owened camaros from all generations and loved each of them but last night my dream of 35yrs came true. I AM NOW A VETTE OWNER!!!!
Anybody know where the nearest corvette message board is?
Thanks again.
Larry
