Now if i can just find an air lid i can get started.

Never heard of the brand you mentioned....

Yeah from what i've heard the A4 can be pretty nasty with the right torque converter.
this guy http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...ghlight=Fuddle
said he got a 1/4 mile ET of 13.9 stock, 13.3 with the Fuddle converter.
Is there another one you had in mind?

Decent cam like one from Futral Motorsports

F-13 is their most popular cam and most of their cars make damned close to if not over 400 rwhp with all the bolt-ons (TB, LS6/FAST intake, LT headers with good flowing exhaust or cutout, CAI kit, dyno tune, etc.)

Won't be as easy to make an automatic-equipped, reliable LS1 hit 425rwhp as some would believe. The absolute easiest route would be a NX or TNT wet kit jetted for 125-150rwhp. If nitrous isn't your thing, a good heads/cam package with the necessary supporting equipment will get you there. However, be sure you have a plan for what you want the car to sound like, drive like and have expectations for relability and maintenance before you jump in. There are a lot of little things that add up. Long-tubes vs. mids, true duals vs. Y-pipe, LSA and duration for the cam, etc. I have 436rwhp/420rwtq N/A through a 6-speed with a clutch that is going south and could, theoretically, drive my Z28 every day. The problem is that I wouldn't want to drive it all the time. It's cold-blooded in the morning, pretty damn loud and smelling exhaust gets old after a while. Get a good plan and then ask about individual components...

Re: 425HP LS1. What would I need?
as far as the exhaust, i want a setup that for right now bolts to the stock y-pipe. It will consist of a fabbed y-pipe which starts right at the join point, then goes all the way to the stock locations much like a bassani tru-dual setup, but with 2 y-pipes instead of an X pipe.
That way, when i want to get actual true duals, i can simply hack off those y-pipes and weld in parallel pipes.
Now i think i'd like to go more with the cam, it's a tiny bit more legal than spray.
let's talk ET, i want to be in the 11s.
