I hope this is okay to put in this section but my grandpa has a 6.0 in his 02 GMC truck and it using a quart of oil between oil changes and sometimes even sooner. There is no obvious signs of it burning it and its as dry as a bone underneath. Any suggestions on what it could be. And has anyone else expeirenced the same thing with any other LS1's. Thanks for any help again.

Yeah, these motors are known to use oil, but some of that is due to how we drive these machines...lol. I'm going to have to give you the usual GM "it's normal" excuse at this time. I'd just leave it be unless you want to mess with the PVC and a few other tweeks some of these guys have come up with.
