99 SS How much it worth?
#16
keep looking on Autotrader.com, there is a high demand for these cars now but there is also a lot of people stuck into selling, 13,500 for that 99 SS is a great price, did she say why she was selling it? It does only have 50,000 miles, and it is a good deal. make sure you ask her, how long has she had it, why she is selling it and then drive it again. just because it has been wrecked doesn't mean it's not a good car though. I think it's kind of fishy that she is only asking $15,000. and that the service engine soon light is on. extended warrenties are only like $1300, so cover your butt and get one.

That car sounds too fishy, so it is definetely better to forget it. You'll be better off that way.
There are plenty of nice cars out there and you'll find one sooner or later. Probably have to pay a bit more, but it is pretty much worth it. Just keep on looking.

Update
Ok guys here is the scoop.....ran the VIN on carfax turns out it does have a salvaged title!! what a surprise huh?? LOL......it was wrecked 4 months after it was first titled in 99. the report stated it had front end impact in ditch...........
So i guess that sheds some light on the mismatched VIN's.....oh well the search continues
Thanks for the input guys!!

Well good thing you did run the car fax report.. It would suck if you found out after you did buy the car, if you were going to get it financed then the
bank would have never given you a loan on it.. And then the car would probably be worth less then 15,000 more like 8,000 with a salvaged title..
