All of the mods EXCEPT the catback were removed and the Stealth airbox assembly was installed.

That's how it worked out on my car. It seems to me the LS1 in its stock form gives varied dyno numbers from motor to motor. Judgeing from some of the dyno numbers posted I'd have to say that the horsepower could vary as much as 15-20 horsepower.

Anybody want to get together and run user tests to see if it actually works? I'll furnish the lid (00-02) the FTRA and pay for dyno time.
Not to be a skeptic but your first dyno was in August and last dyno was in November Are you sure the Temps. humidity were the same? That alone could be the difference in the numbers

Gents.............Couple of questions on the stealth:

Who sells them for the best price?
Anyone been using it for a while....how do they hold up?

I don't think the extra money is worth it for the FIPK or the volant. I would suggest a lif and an FTRA from www.fasttoys.net

the thing I dont like about the FTRA is that it seems to cover alot of the radiator.... not sure how I would feel about that...

That is a concern with a lot of people. But as of now I have not noticed any change in temp, also a lot of other people from hot states like Texas, Nevada etc etc. have said they have not been affected.
Though I do agree with you, it is a concern. But it hasn't affected me yet

Folks, all I can do is tell you how my car responded with the Stealth setup. And no I can't say that all the variables were the same for each session. But if my motor is affected that much by a change of temp or humidity then I'm not as impressed by the LS1 as I thought.
From reading some of the post's concerning stock dyno numbers I must have a really weak motor.
