Question Alright i need a rough estimate on how much this would cost...

Anyone have any idea on how much the average shop (theres 2 here in Charlotte that specialize in f-bodys/domestic engines and everything) would charge to take out a V6 and put a V8 in the car and everything associated with that. The engine would also have some head/cam work to be done on it first before it goes in the car and then installing full exhaust too.

Anyone have a rough estimate on how much this would cost or should cost around? Im gonna call them up sometime this week and see but i was just coming here to see what i should expect to hear. Thanks.

Tough to say... that's probably 20+ hours of work even to someone who knows what they're doing...

Think of all the money he'll save in Insurance having a "V6" car...lol. He might be onto something here.
