Anybody ever use Slick 50 in their LS1 ?
I have used it in the past - don't know that it truly made a difference, but it did not hurt.
At any rate, I stumbled across This Ad @ Pep Boysw, and it got me wondering.
Even if it does not do any good, I can't see where it would harm it, and it is $10.00 for an oil change - I bet I have another 1/2 quart laying around.
Thoughts ?
Thanks !
Britt

Agreed with everyone else. I use Mobile 1 fully synthetic motor oil along with the Mobile 1 oil filter. As long as you keep a regular maintenence schedual you'll be allright. As for my Z, I have put only 7,500 miles on her in 2 years and I still change the Mobile 1. Many people swear by AmsOil, but I dunno.... Mobile 1 has yet to prove me wrong....
