my car has been on the fritz ever since i pulled mine out, so i'm slowly putting everything back on to stock to see where the problem is via elimination - problem is i damaged my screen taking it out. anyone have one that they don't want??

I think descreening is pretty much an irreversible mod. Don't believe you can get the screen out without damaging it.

In my old truck (2000 Chevy S10 Xtreme 4.3/5 speed), when I pulled the screen out, it pinged like crazy. One thing I learned is that every car is different. Different mods will make the car react differently. I ultimately had to go to a junkyard and get a MAF from an old car and pull the screen out and reinstall it.
Just use a real small flat head screwdriver and push the edge away from the body of the MAF, then push it out. To reinstall it , just push the edges back against the body.
