I'll be getting one of these pretty soon, but right now I'm leaning towards the Scanmaster since I don't have a Palm Pilot or laptop to use with the Autotap. How does the Scanmaster compare? Will it give me pretty much the same data as the Autotap?

 

My limited understanding on both is that the Scanmaster does just that - scans. It will tell you just about everththing your car is doing. The Autotap allows you to make changes, that is why you need the PC/Palm. The Autotap will show you what the Scanmaster can see, and allow you change any of the settings instead of just looking at it.
