Bad clutch diagnosis help
The other day while I was accelerating to pull inot traffic, the clutch started stinking really bad. Ever since I bought the car, I've noticed that when I pull out slowly (or hard) the car shakes just slightly until I get moving. Could this be a sign that the clutch is bad or getting bad? The warranty is good for another year so I want to make sure to get it fixed before it expires. Can a bad clutch cause the car to shake slightly under these conditions?

It could be the flywheel has warped a little. If they make the flywheels the same way they make the rotors, I wouldn't be surprised. j/k Either way, it sounds like you need a new clutch/flywheel assembly. Time to call SPEC.

Thanks for the replies guys! I had a feeling that's what was wrong. Maybe this is what's making me feel that this car is so slow. If the clutch isn't engaging completely and there's slipping under heavy load, the car won't accelerate the way it should. Hopefully the new clutch can help wake this car up.
