I don't recall saying the road was wet but ok. Also when do the 3.73 gears run out on top speed in an A4?

Where did I say that I've never done that? Also, where did I say that you can't drive since you are 16? Yup. That's what I thought.

Just wanted to point out the dangers of racing anywhere else than on a closed course, that's all. :blah:

Good luck.

Ok Ok everyone calm down lets not get our panties in a bunch over nothing.
Yes that does seem like a great mod to do ls1's love bigger cams no doubt about that. But along with that your are going to need more I. E. custom tune for sure and if you get sticky tires a bigger rear end to hold the power. One mistake a lot of owners make is they just want power but there more to it like putting it on the ground. With you being a newbie to the ls1 you need to make sure you look into it very carefully make sure you get supporting things along with that power suspension parts, rear end, tires , and the list goes on.

Dude, unless you're independently wealthy or your parents are footing the bill, i say save your cash for the stock car. Z28's are a kick in the pants to drive even when they're stock. That's not stopping me from modding mine, but i'm not trying to get into stock car racing, either.

My girlfriends dad is the one who has the car and he also has an extra engine laying around down there... was thinking about putting that in my Z. I think the engine alone is pushing around 600HP. But yeah I wont be paying for any of it... hes a millionaire need I say more hah.

I'd say after reading his posts that isn't a matter of if but when.

lid, catback, stall and tires and that is a fun car there... good luck with your mad driving skills. Please tell me if you are ever in Colorado so I can park my car away from the road.

All in good fun right?
