What are some good mods for a 2000 SS Camaro. I want something that makes a big difference yet is still within price range. Any thoughts.

 

I'm assuming you just got it / it's stock.

Get a Lid/Filter, Free Mods, Catback. Also if its a 6speed I suggust a Hurst/Short Stick.

nitrous... 150shot wet... cheap and will blow you away..

 

since you're new....

i suggest you go through the first 10 pages of the LS1 forum and read alot. most of what you are asking has been covered over and over. as have alot of beginner mods, and which ones are best.

and while you do that, make a list of things you don't understand....then use the SEARCH function

im not going to agree with that 150shot.... maybe you should learn how to handle your car a drive it first before you start strappnig on such a power adder like that

Lid, catback, free mods, some nice tires and leanr how to drive/ handle the car

Man you guys are rough on the newbie A lid seems to be the most popular 1st mod. If it's an auto go with a t/c, stick get some gears. longtubes will also help alot with a manifold. A cheap power adder is the 150 shot. Good luck and happy modding.
