bfg's or nitto's
Anyone had experience with these brands in a drag radial? I'm leaning towards nittos but a second opinion couldn't hurt. Anyone tried the new g/force drag radials? Thanks for the input guys.

I'm gonna get the Nittos....but that means nothing to you because I'm only going off what I've heard and thats not experience. But I'm replying to tell you to try a search, this quesiton is asked like 5 times daily.....

ok.. i too havent used them.. but...
I researched all over..
More people seem to get more mileage out of the nittos.. there isnt much difference in the 60' times that I have seen.. Both can get 1.7's..
BFG is softer.. (rated at 0 or 40.. I cant remember)
Nitto is rated at 100...
the new BFGS with the better looking pattern isnt available in any size that would work on a 16" wheel for us.. At least thats what it said on BFGs website..
there was a 17" one but I dont remember the size..
Nittos will get you more passes and look better.. Thats the route I will be going..
I tend to think that on a radial tire with no wrinkle wall, that the larger tread block would be better to have.. the BFG has tiny little tread blocks compared to nittos..

This is simple. Do you plan to drive them on the street at all, or are these a dedicated track tire? If you plan to drive them on the street, get the Nitto's. If they are a dedicated track tire, forget drag radials and get some ET Streets. The only exceptions to ET Streets is if you are running a class that reuqires radials, or if your car can hook on BFG's consistantly. You will mph better on radials than bias ply tires (like MT).
