the magnaflow is not very loud but definitly louder than stock. not as loud as the borla or loudmouth, but from what i read in many different forums, the magnaflow flows the best beside the gmmg and loudmouth. flowmaster's flow like abosolute crap like 350 cfm and then it went to the borla at 750 or 800 cfm and everything was inbetween the borla and the magnaflow (1000 cfm) and the gmmg and loudmouth were like 1200 cfm
the numbers were something like that.
the numbers aren't exact or anything, so don't quote me on them. they are just how i remember reading them from a post on ls1.com that some guy tested on a flowbench or soemthing.

Heard a Mangnaflow today, sounds good, good price too, for all stainless system, looks good too.....thanks for all the replies guys(and girls).

I am 'thinking' about doing the custom Dynomouth style exhaust with a 'sweet thunder' resonater....... Then since both the dyno and sweet are both hollow on the inside pretty much, the sweet thunder would be more free flowing since its closer to the size of the 3in pipeing then the larger dynomax...
