Buying '98 Z28 M6 w/ All Options, Need Info
#16
Well, considering I am only 19 and live in Montana, it is kind of hard to get a '98+ Z28 or SS around here, especially when there is never any in this state.
Like some people said in this thread earlier, 'As long as you're happy with it, price is not the concern.'
Sure, I could find one for cheaper and possibly less miles, but then I would have to travel to pick it up and what not. I am not worried about the car payments, only the insurance which I will be able to afford. The car will be completely paid off with in a few weeks to a month of getting it.
I appreciate everyone's help, I really do, but I don't see why everyone has to put someone down for paying a little extra for something they have wanted for so long.
I have been reading these forums for awhile now, I just never posted because I didn't have a Camaro. I would have at least thought some people would have been like 'Good for you on going to be getting the Z28, glad we have another F-Body owner.'
Obviously I thought wrong. Perhaps I should take my questions and thoughts elsewhere.
Again, to those that helped me on letting me know what the A4 means without the smartass remarks and making me feel good about purchasing a Z28, thank you so much, you have certainly inspired me that having a Z28 is worth it.
To those that gave the smartass remarks and don't care about someone choosing a Z28 over say a Honda, well, you are not doing anything except showing the bad side of F-Body owners.
Thanks again to those that where nice to me.

Hey, kid--let the negative comments flow like water off a duck's back. I hope you have a great time with your car. If you are happy with it, it's all that matters, and since you know the prior owner, you can buy with confidence.
Take it easy the first few months while you get used to it--it's easy to let a big V8 car get away from you until you are used to it. I spun my SD-455 several times years ago while I was getting used to all that torque coming out of the corners!
Since you live in Montana, I'll bet you have lots of great open roads to tear up....
