Can I make my fan come on sooner without programming?

Can I make my fan come on sooner without programming?

I want my fan to come on sooner. Can this be done without programming?

Most of the vendors offer a switch. You just have to hook it up, and you can turn them on/off whenever your heart desires. ?Another option would be to get a 160 degree or 180 degree thermostat.

These 2 mods cost me just over $20 and have my car running a consistent 175*...

They (fan switch and t-stat) are not really seperate options. One will not work properly to lower temps consistently without the other.

Stay away from manual switches that mount in the cabin. You must remember to turn these switches on and off for them to do their job. You also must string wiring into the cabin. Last, but not least, they are VERY expensive in kit form.
The link I gave you is for a fully automatic, worry free set-up that requires very little wiring and only runs about $20.

actually your new t-stat won't keep your engine cooler without a fan mod
