can you post me some pics of 285/40/17 on the rear of your cars please..thanks i want to see what they look like..

 

Sorry no pictures to post but I can give you a verbal description.
I'm running TT's 17x9 1/5 with Fisk Phantom ZRX's. The tire has a 11 inch tread width and from the rear they look huge. Also running them on the front and there aren't any clearence problems.

 

any speedo problems? and did the car feel slower?, anyone have pics i would still like to see...thanks

 

Have you posted on LS1.com?
They have a very large member base. You might get a better response.

There were no speedo problems at all. According to the conversion table I used there is about 1/10th of an inch differance in tire diameter of a 285/40/17 and a 245/50/16.
The car has less traction problems and it corners like crazy. The Phantom ZRX's are directional tires and have a tread wear factor of 300.
