ive got a 98 Z m6 and the last three times i started it (or tired) i turn the key to start it and nothing happens. turn the key again it starts and then stalls, turn the key again it starts and runs fine. No check engine light car runs fine after it finally starts...what could this be?????

 

CHeck the ignition relay in the engine compartment next to the air and egr relays. I had a problem very close to this and thats what was replaced by the dealer to fix it. you can switch out your egr or air relay to use in its place as they are the same part number from gm now im pretty sure.

 

i figured it out it was actaully my ignition cylinder and it wasnt reading the code fromt he key
