I ordered the McLeod Rev-Lok II becuase I heard good things about it and the price was right from ThunderRacing.com. I've yet to install it, nor will I be able to drive my car with it for 10 weeks since I'm off at school now, but I'd say the Rev-Lok II is worth checking out.

Yeah, I gotta back up Flat_Tire_ on this one!!!! I got the Rev-Lok and it's ****ing amazing!!!! I love it!!! It grabs hard!!!! Even when my stock clutch was brand new, I never even chirped third gear, now it spins 3rd!!! It's hot!!! Just whatever you do make sure you get the revised version!!! By the way Flat_Tire_, I hope you got the revised version, if not, since you didn't put it in yet, i'd call up mcleod and ask for an exchange for the revised one. Contact me if you need their phone number or anything.

Actually, i've heard lots of bad things about the star stage 3. They say it can handle 600 hp, but i've heard lots of stories of people with only in the low 400 range having it give out on them after only a few thousand miles. As for the mcleod dual disk, i've heard about problems with that one (something about warpage or something), and it's mad expensive, and i've heard is very unstreetable. I haven't really heard anything about the mcleod single disk, so I can't comment on that one. Hope I helped some.

As for the master and slave, i'd just get the GM updated hydraulics, and either get ones that come with the drill out mod predone, or do the drill out mod if it's not predone. My mechanic got me updated gm hydraulics with the restriction already eliminated, so he didn't have to do the drill out mod.
