Comparing the LS1 and LS6 intakes
I just bought the SLP LS6 intake. Besides the egr hookup and the bottom of the intakes, they look identical. The interior (ported air holes or whatever it's called) of both intakes looks identical and the same size. I just don't see where the LS6 intake will be more beneficial. Someone please enlighten me.

July's issue of Chevy High Performance did a comparison of all the LS1 intakes. This is what they had to say about the differences.
"In fact, it's runner humps are more pronounced, the plenum obstruction has been pared to a minimum, and the bottom section is flat. This increases plenum volume and enhances high-rpm horsepower."
