Dyno Results
Just got back from Kenny Brown Performance with my dyno results:
311.1 RWHP
327.5 Max Torque
The guy at the shop calculated the fly wheel horsepower to be 363.7.
Needless to say, I am very pleased with these numbers.

nice #'s, especially torque, but the m6's are rather efficient and lose about 12%, about 40hp. thats seems to be the norm with the newer f bodys

Hey guys, just checking out the board. I was wondering what a bone stock LS1 normally puts down on the dyno? I have an aquiantance who claims his stock 2001 Z-28 put down 307wheelHP on the rollers. But he hasn't offered up a sheet nor has he taken me up on racing. I just want some honest numbers.

307 rwhp stock would be most likely. Some do quite a bit more, some a bit less. Anywhere from 280 rwhp to 320 rwhp stock, depending on year and transmission.
I did 322 rwhp and 333 tq with a lid, pulley, and GMAF in an automatic.

Definitely the 305 crank rating is inappropriate. Closer to 340-370 at the crank.

I've heard and read about MANY STOCK TO THE FILTER LS1's pull 300+rwhp all the time. They are supposed to have 325 at the flywheel...yeah rite
They just under rate them so Corvette owners don't feel like they wasted an extra $20k
My buddy was just at a dyno day this past Saturday. There was a new Firehawk that put down 325 RWHP w/ JUST a cutout..NOTHING ELSE!
THOSE are dam good numbers
Goota love the LS1's numbers off of the floor
