Edelbrock intakes for LS1

Does anyone have experience with this new Edelbrock setup for using a carburetor on the LS1. What are your thoughts on its advantage?http://static.summitracing.com/globa...edl-2908_w.jpg

No point in converting to a carb since quite a few guys with stock LS6 intakes or 90/90s are in the 9s on motor or 8s with power adders. At least do a sheetmetal intake and keep the FI setup. All a carb will do is cut your gas mileage down considerably.

I've done a Carbed LS1 setup on a 3rd gen, and you can't beat how easy it was to make run and tune. Although we got the Dual plane Edelbrock intake we went with the single plane GMPP unit and like it better. That, with the MSD LS1 controller will work great. PM me if you need more info. Check out Ralph's page for the one I did

Thanks for the feedback, was planning on keeping it in my 99 z29, mainly curious on it.
