I have Flowmaster they are great sounding and good flow..... however if you have the money I would go with the Borla i really don't know what they sound like but I love the flow they have... still think Flowmaster is the best sounding so far..... by the way LT1 & LS1 sound diffrent even using the same muffler on both....

As far as catbacks go, the LoudMouth clearly flows better than anything else and is lighter. It sounds great with the stock y-pipe and cats. Without cats or with long tubes it is VERY LOUD.
I have the Hooker catback on my T/A and really like the way it sounds with FLP's and cats. It was pretty loud without cats but still sounded awesome.

The SLP 2OTL is another great catback. I used to have one on my old '98 1LE. They are stainless, priced reasonably, deep but mellow at idle and sound great at WOT.
I would not use a LoudMouth behind anything but the stock manifolds, cats and y-pipe.

Dynomouth.
Flows like the LM.
Costs much less.
Sound cannot be touched by any other cat-back, except possibly duals.
Some interesting flow numbers obtained from LS1.com:
Borla- 900 cfm
Magnaflow- 1100 cfm
Flowmaster- 350 cfm
DynoMax bullet (Dynomouth)- 2200 cfm
Loudmouth- 2200 cfm

I like the QUIET approach.I have the Dynomax race-welded cat-back and it flows about the best of any muffler out there.I don't remember the exact numbers, but all the muffler is,is a y-pipe surrounded by fiberglass. Some people don't like it because it's not much louder than stock.Although it is mucj deeper sounding.
