Corsa, nothing fits the gap in the bumper better! Looks like it was made perfectly for the TA. Pics and sound clips are on my homepage.

GMHTP Magazine did an article a few months back. In the article they compared a stock WS6 exhaust with an aftermarket cat-back. There were very minimal gains (I think it was less than 5 HP)

So, for that reason, I'm happy with my Flowmaster 80 muffler and original WS6 ehaust tips.

Cool

Some of my favorites on the LS1 include Random Technology, SLP dual/dual, Hooker, and Mufflex. My favorite would have to be the Hooker for sound, even though I'm running my quiet dual/dual. We do have the Borla in stock, FWIW.

I currently have the LoudMouth on the Camaro and a Hooker on the T/A. The LM is just that, pretty loud. I love it. I also have a Hooker on the T/A, and it is pretty quiet. You can only really hear it when you are on it (sounds awesome with the ttops out). Great for a daily driver. Both are pretty cheap (both were <1 Corsa).

I have a Borla. Lot's of coin but there is a reason for that. It lasts, and sounds fantasic. No irritable drone on the highway either. Looks sharp to. Not to austentatious. The muffler guys that put my system on were amazed at the quality and thought the sound was great too.

Good luck with your decision. What ever you get, I am sure you will like it. My cat back improved power\responce thoughout the entire RPM range as well. Quite amazing really.

Does the Hooker have any drone or in-cabin resonance? I have an M6 TA and I would like to give it a try, but I want to know about the sound before I plunk down the cash.

Thanks.

The Hooker has a really nice sound to it. It's not quiet, but it's not loud. I never had any resonance when I had one on my '98 T/A. I can get you one in a few days if you'd like to give it a try.
