Firehawk sz50's or Nitto 555 extremes?

I had the Firestone SZ50 on my 95' Z28 and they were the best all around tires I have had to date. They are excellent in the rain and dry conditions. They lasted 26,000 miles on a car that never got more than 16K on a set of tires before. I now am getting a set of the SZ50EP 275/40/17 for my SS which came with Goodyear F1's (crap) replaced by BF Goodrich KDW (good but noisy). My brother has had two sets of SZ50EP's on his C5 both of which lasted over 25,000 miles. Great tires for the real world, they even hook up good on the track.
