"blowmasters" stink on LS1's...save your money until you can afford a real exhaust mod.

 

Sounds good on my car. The cutout can be opened when you want the flow.

But, if I had to go buy ONE thing, and you wouldn't let me buy a muffler and cutout, then I would get the GMMG. It has a mean growl to it.

 

Dont spend $700 on a catback, unless you have $$ fallin out your you know what. I say what some other guys have said. Just buy a Flowmaster Muffler, not the whole catback. Instead of buying the whole catback get a cutout and the Flowmaster muffler and some nice tips. You'll have that Flowmaster sound out the back and deep rumble and free flow of the cutout. If im thinking right the price of the Flowmaster catback would equal about the price of just a flowmaster muffler, Cutout, and maybe even an electric cutout valve.

The moral of the story is...........get the cutout, just a flowmaster muffler and tips, and an electric valve for the cutout for the best deep sound. I promise you'll come out on top.

 

flomaster = junk get a hooker cat back 300 smackers and sounds better IMO

I bought the full flowmaster american thuder catback.. I was dissapointed with it..... U can hardly hear it uness you go wide open or rev it up..... I bought a cutout until ican spend $340 on an SLP Loud Mouth. OR, i might do the No muffler mod...
