forged bottom end

is it possible to replace the stock bottom end with the engine still in the vehicle? i am sure taking it out would be easier, just curious if it could be done.

Thinking about it in my head.. It would probably be worth the effort to just take the engine out. Theoretically, I think you could. However, it would be a bitch. You would have to take almost the same amount of stuff off, and working upside down would just be terrible. Gravity working AGAINST you is no good.

You could do it but the cradle would be in the way, you'd need to jack the engine up to get at everything.
