Formal Introduction
Well I asked questions before introducing.
I am new to LS1's and F-Bodies but have always loved them, the TA more than the maro but i love them both. i just bought a 98 z28 that is in good shape just needs a few things here and there but its white t-top with leather with 139000 for 5K so i dont think it is bad.
What should I do maintenance type? Oil pump? clutch? plugs-wires? anything else you can think of? and i need to replace the high pressure hose for power steering i leak all fluid within a day so thats what i think i need. anyways any advice appreciated this site has been helpful already!

Welcome to the site! Five grand is a good deal on that car. Enjoy!
With 139k, my guess is that many of those items have already been replaced once. The clutch and plugs/wires are both supposed to be replaced after 100k. Other than that, there's really no need to replace anything before it fails. LS1s have an excellent reputation for durability.
I'm not aware of an issue with failing oil pumps on high-mile LS1s -- I don't think you should need to replace it. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will chime in and let us both know.
The other thing I recommend to everyone is to upgrade the shocks! The factory shocks on these cars are terrible, not to mention that they're not well matched to the springs. Install a set of well-matched aftermarket shocks and springs and your ride quality will improve 1000x, while still improving handling.
The stock shocks will, over time, slowly rattle the car to pieces.
Let us know when you're ready to start modifying your car. The options are practically limitless!

If it's lasted 140k miles then it's not a likley canidate for the catastrophic failure that hit some.
We have a 98 SS with 33k miles that we bought new and I raced for the first 2 years of it's life and still has the stock oil pump.
They fail by having the overpressure bypass valve stick open at high revs, then when you get back to normal revs you have no oil pressure.
