Ftra?

I have a 98 ss with the m6. It is all stock except for the loudmouth exhaust and pro-5 shifter. I want to know if I should get a fast toys ram air and lid or go with the fipk or volant induction setup. Does anyone have some track times with these setups or hp gains or sotp gains with these setups? Let me know what you guys think of these setups.

My 98 SS only had exhaust when I first took her to the track in the summer and she ran a best of 14.2@98mph. I added a lid and different muffler and ran a 13.5@103 a few month later in the fall. Lid made a huge difference, I also cut-out the airbox at the same time.

I'd go with the Supersucker ram air kit. It works great, and is easy to install. I hear they're making a track only version of the lower box. Instead of the lower box mouth being 15x2 inches tall and wide the new lower box is going to be 15x5 inches. This will be a huge mouth that will really scoop in the air. Since it will hang low they only recommend it for track use.

Thanks for the replies. With the loudmouth exhaust as my only mod I have ran a 13.50 at 107 with a 2.2 or 2.3 60' time. I think my times are pretty good. Just want the best mod for my induction system.

Hey Booradley do you have any track times before and after the super sucker ram air kit?

The Supersucker can be purchased at Speed inc. or LM Performance. We just received from the manufacturer today the "track" version of the lower air box for the Supersucker. This mouth is huge. It's almost like having a hoodscoop on your car, only it's under the bumper. I put it on my car today and took it out on the highway. I could feel a difference over the regular Supersucker. This is for the track only. DO NOT use this on the street since it hangs so low. I'm waiting for Jon from Speed Inc to make up a link for me to post the pictures I sent earlier today to him. They should be up later.
