Getting headers will rear end hold?

Getting headers will rear end hold?
I am thinking about getting Hooker long tube headers but I have concerns that the extra power and my cars 4.10s will lead to rear end troubles. I only use Z rated street tires and never go to the strip but I occasionally will race signal to signal. So my question to all you experienced guys out there is that will my rear end hold, or will I be heading for troubled waters.

I doubt headers would put you over the top and cause your rear to break. But the stock rearends on Fbodys are known to basically suck. And if you have a M6 that you race from time to time.. then it has even more chance to break. So I guess the answer to your question is yes your rear may break, but I would not think it is the headers or the power from them that causes it. Just my .02

Here is the deal. Rear ends break because of shock...If your tires caught some super traction yes that could happen stock...Shock it enough it will break. Don't get traction and less worries...Wheel hop causes shock. If you are worried get some rear suspension pieces and a cover for your rear also you can go to the extreme and get extra I think they are called shims to make it a bit stronger. Lets put it this way I have a M6 with ALOT more then headers I haven't had a single problem. I do have all the suspension pieces and the extra shims and stuff...but never once have I broken anything. Shoot me a email if you and I will answer those rear end worries...

I am really having a serious problem saying things right today... they are little disks that are installed when gears are put together to help absorb the shock of the rear. I believe they are acuatully used but what you do is you add more to the setup for that extra shock absorbtion. Read up they explain it fully...my brain is fried ...and its monday...It works though.
