Hi All I Have A Zo6 Head And Cam Package And Would Life Info On The Install And The Performance The Concern I Have Is. Will The D Shaped Ports Work With My Pacesetter Longtubes And Should I Go With Shaft Mounted Rocker Arms

 

They're LS6 heads and cam. Z06 is the C5 performance package. Thats like saying SS heads and cam when they're LS1 heads.

They should work with anything that'll bolt to an LS1. Stock rockers will be fine.

 

you'll be disapointed. the ls6 heads are decent but the cam leaves a ton of power on the plate. as for pysically installing the parts. No problem there. Might want to check pushrod length to be safe but otherwise should all just bolt together.

 

yeah the ls6 cam has a smaller base circle...so you need different length pushrods.

get those heads a mild port job and you'll get alot more power out if it.

 

If they're LS6 heads they should have the longer stemmed LS6 valves....

or did you buy the preassembled LS6 heads, that come with the ls6 vales, springs, etc.. and also get the ls6 cam?
