Good cam?

I might buy my mom's '99 Z28 after I graduate and was wondering what would be a good street cam that wouldn't hurt my mpg that bad(above 16 on the highway ). I will probably put a 3600 stall in it. I'm not looking to make big horse power, just make it a little more fun to drive around town. It hardley EVER see the strip because I'm building my LT1 for that. Car has an SLP air lid and catback....

tsp 224 cam or 228 cam

both will need new springs, and pushrods are suggested.

while you're in there, replace the oilpump and timing chain.
