Is this a good car?

That sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $18,988 for my 99 Trans Am with 60,000 miles on it. I think I got ripped. About a month after I bought this one I found a 2000 with 6,000 miles on it for 19,995. As for the difference between the LS1 and LT1. I traded my 96 Formula LT1 in on the 99 Trans Am and I can say for sure that the 99 T/A is much faster.

Don't forget you'll be paying taxes on the car, too. Since you're buying from a dealer you're going to have to pay taxes on the full purchase price. Not like buying from an individual and claiming you paid $2000 for the car.
