That sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $18,988 for my 99 Trans Am with 60,000 miles on it. I think I got ripped. About a month after I bought this one I found a 2000 with 6,000 miles on it for 19,995. As for the difference between the LS1 and LT1. I traded my 96 Formula LT1 in on the 99 Trans Am and I can say for sure that the 99 T/A is much faster.

Don't forget you'll be paying taxes on the car, too. Since you're buying from a dealer you're going to have to pay taxes on the full purchase price. Not like buying from an individual and claiming you paid $2000 for the car.

check the new england and the for sale section a guy is selling a 98 ss for right around that price so go for the ss!

too bad you were not in California.. In the Santa Barbara Trade Express there is someone selling a 2001 Camaro SS T-tops, 6 Speed Hurst Edition, Leather, Black on black, AMFM CD/12 Disc Changer, ASR, POSI, just fully Loaded with 22,000 miles for $ 20,000...

i just saw a 2000 SS on ebay for like 14,000 with 40,000 miles, check that one out.

it sounds like a good deal to me but i dont know about those miles...theyre pretty high. id go for an ls1 anyway..but thats totally up to you

It looks like a good deal to me but I dont know about those miles, but if Miles don't matter to you. Then go for it and good luck with you decision and have fun if you get it
